2025
In twenty twenty-five, I’ve made my stand,
A lesson learned, a truth so grand.
In this country, a rough road I see,
Where being white can mean being free,
But only if you wear a racist mask,
To cheat, to hurt, is the unspoken task.
If you follow Trump, the brash, the bold,
You can say anything, let your story unfold.
But I want my rights, I want my voice,
To speak my truth, to make my choice.
Respect for all races, that’s my creed,
Good in every color, that’s what we need.
I hear the stories, the struggles, the pain,
From good white folks to those in the rain.
Brown and Black, all nationalities too,
Together we rise, together we’ll...
