Letting go...
Yesterday my teenage daughter decided to go live with her grandparents and my sister. These are the same people that have mentally, emotionally and verbally abused me for years. She was too small to recognize what was happening. Me and her stepfather drilled it into her not to take that route. But sometimes children have to learn on their own. She never coped with her step father or the discipline and strict structure we used to raise her. I suppose this was only one of the reasons why she decided to move. There is a sadness there...But I know we did everything we could to keep her from safe and harm. We instilled wisdom, knowledge and love into her. She never really understood the consequences of her actions, she was disobedient and tough. Although I have a beautiful daughter who is talented and gifted, there are things she has to learn own her own. This was a difficult decision, but I know in the end she will see why....
