Distance between us has been increasing day by day?

But all I could get hold is your shadow.
Are these my insecurities speaking,
Or there's a change that has been peeking?
Is it an omen of the end approaching,
Or my heart is just miscalculating?
Endless calls of love made were unanswered till date,
Or is just by mistake?
My heart is pounding endlessly by the thought of losing you,
But down the line, I knew it was supposed to be like this.
This suddenness of the moment made me feel jilt.
Yes we were like the two parallel roads never meant to unite,
But even then I chose to be there by your side.
When it's time to depart,
It feels as if my soul has broken apart.
I wish to relive those moments,
In this very hour.
