The footprints I have left in the sand,
The sorrow my soul has felt are all imprints of how I feel.
Deep within and beyond the limits of where others will go,
That is where I have lived.
As a child I had to survive,
I did not live a happy life.
I have fought against this world and its many dangers,
Not knowing what to expect next I lived it in anger.
I have lived through things a person cannot fathom.
I have been traumatized to the point that somethings I no longer remember.
So when a person tells me they know who I am
I laugh and I reply "you only know what I want you to know".
Remember, I have gone to the places that others refuse to go.

Anothers opinion of who I am is of no importance to me.
Somewhere deep within is a person waiting to be set free.

Set your boundries and draw your line.
Do not settle for what is and shoot for the stars!
You are the only person who knows the real you!
So if a person does or says something negative about you or to you hand it back and walk away.
Say "thank you but no thank you".
After all aside from God you are the only one who knows yourself. anyway.
