The Roadside Well
This sky was in blue and white,
The cold winds were blowing hard,
These hills and valleys were spitting
up flames of dust and the Flora and fauna could be counted with ease, and so was the hope of love...the hope of love in my heart!

It has been today!
today in the afternoon...and I was
riding my horse to the west, hunting
and craving for the hope of love...the
hope of love for filling up the ocean in my heart so that I can love again.

The sunshine was mercilessly
hitting my forehead and I was swallowing my own sweat.
My horse was staggering in the
sand dunes and at the same time a
young and beautiful lady was
struggling with drawing water
from the roadside well.

I ordered my horse to halt
and while it's breathing in and out
and jubilating,
I approached the lady and helped lift her pot from the well, after which she smiled and served me some water that quenched my thirst.

Am actually that kind of a man who likes killing two birds with one stone,
and thus before making it back to
my horse, I asked for her name
and she told me she's Kenyagyi,
a name that made my heart
boil hot with desire.

Of course I was supposed to ride
further to the West, but partly because the sky was in the eve of swallowing the sun, I turned my horse and chose to ride back home together with Kenyangyi.

With in half an hour I had dropped
Kenyagyi at her destination and as I was
approaching the gates of my home town
there happened a heavy downpour.
The streams, wells, rivers, lakes and oceans filled up to the shorelines,
and so did my heart...however,
with happiness and the
hope of love instead.

As I speak I have actually loved traveling, and thus from tomorrow early in the morning
and the following days
I will be riding back to the West,
but in this case the roadside well
shall be my destination
and Kenyangyi as my host.
