Crocodile Grin
I've always kept my feelings locked inside,
Always hidden behind a painted mask,
With a smile that's naive and wide,
So, you'll only how I really feel if you ask.

Yes, it may be a sin,
But I'll hide my real smile,
Right beneath my skin,
Oh, I know it's been quite awhile,
But you will know me, by my crocodile grin.

So, if I'm mad as Hell,
Or crying out with unshed tears,
How could you even tell,
I've been doing this for years!

Yes, go ahead, and tell me it's a sin,
Even if it's not my best smile,
I am holding just beneath my skin,
I know, that it's been quite awhile,
Since I've shown you my crocodile grin.

Don't test, nor push me,
Because my patience only lasts so long,
And when it's gone, you won't even see,
That my mask has fallen off and my smile's a little wrong...
