Watching time pass by,
stuck, and entranced.
Like I'm frozen,
and time has stood still,
while everything around me
continues on.
I see the people pass by,
the noise in the streets.
I hear the cars as they drive,
the sounds of the city.

How is it?
That the world keeps turning,
while I am here,
in this melancholic state...
The motions blurring,
noise fading away..
I am stuck in a daze,
while the days turn into hues of grey.
Life continues on..
Locked in the chaos
of my own mind.
