I have grew up as much as you did
i have followed you since you were just a kid
I have watched you crying because you were always left alone
but there was nothing I could do when aloofness got to your bone
I have seen how you hide when you are not sure what to say
you have become a tough person but in the most unhealthiest way
I was so proud of you when you chose to set them free instead of holding them close
you hoped for them to stay as they promised but time is cruelest as it goes
I wanted to lend you a hand and a safe place to melt
but i realised how useless I am when all needed was to be held
I wanted to hold you tightly when you lay on the cold floor
but I have no warmth in me all I have is darkness to my core
