I have no Enemies
As my soul loses its boundless rage,
As my sanity is finally freed from its cage.
I look upon faces I used to know, to find that war is not what I want to wage.
Epiphany strikes when I see where once hatred festered, now resides a blooming hage.

Indeed, quite some time has passed,
Since someone crossed me last.
I find that I no longer dwell as rigidly over the past,
And listen somewhat fondly to life’s forecast.

In life, I’ve committed untold atrocities,
And have in turn borne countless agonies.
To chance upon this realization, I have gulped an assortment of remedies.
Finally, I embrace the words: “I have no Enemies”.
