Alice and the Rabbit
Faced trouble once again
From the petty princess
And Queen of Heart's next kin
She had them at the cliffside
With nowhere left to go
They could either cower down
Or jump down the rabbit hole
A cliff into forever
A darkness, falling deep
But better that then EVER kneel
At the petty princess' feet
With a single thought between them
They plunged into thin air
And left the petty princess
Stunned that they would dare
They fell into forever
But finally, they were free
From all that tried to end them
In this land of mystery
The Hatter tried to kill them
With a single cup of tea
Abselom outsmoked them
And vanished in a tree
The Queen of Hearts tried to take
Their heads off from the start
And Tweedledumb and Tweedledee
Were eager to take part
And since they'd lived the story
They put it into words
They poured it out to Wonderland
And that magick land? It heard
So now they'll write the ending
With help from Wonderland
Falling through forever
Would be their final stand
Their story, now a legend
Did they live to tell the tale?
It's Alice and the Rabbit
And a Wonder of a spell
So, did they really make it?
Somewhere, some other side
Did they find their paradise
Beyond their wild ride?
Perhaps the magic's in not knowing
And dreaming your own end
Where forever, ever after
Is a happy one for them.
