These Nightmares,
They're toxic but lovely,
They help me more than I help myself
Can't imagine a day without them.

If they leave..
I'll never be the same again,
Always giving me comfort
And a place to rest from my pain.

These Nightmares,
They are sublime
But just to me
They are lethal
But just to me

Everyday I go there
Not for any reason
Just to find possibility
Just to be free from the cruelty of reality.

Nobody understands how these nightmares
Have come true for me
When I felt lost, broken, abandoned, sad,
When I self loathed, felt unable to love.

These Sublime Nightmares,
They're slowly ruining my life,
But they are critical
But they have to go...

Till that day comes... I'll wait
I'll wait till I can't see them anymore.
I'll say goodbye,.
To the one thing that gave me satisfaction.
