once upon a time they said you can do anything if you put your to it a pathetic dream so I lay awake in bed dreaming a pathetic dream until realty jolts me awake from bed tearing off the sheets saying thatll never happen not now later or past it said mocking reality had me squirming in it's grasp it took it's oh so big and mighty claw and whispered in My ear want to know why that's a pathetic daydream you see I'm reality let's say you want to be a baker but don't know how to bake a cake a person named Sally knows everything has a good degree gets her studies done never is late to work meanwhile you have none let's say the final test for the baker is to get the job he hopes he gets it but my job for worthless nobody's like him is to say hell no your dreams you have no resume no talents or experience with those types of things that the one you hoped for that your parents said oh it'll come true suddenly out the window along your dreams too the thought the feeling makes you feel like crap a worthless noone for actually believeing that
