The secret of the Nile scroll
In dawn’s soft light, young Senufer crept,
To the temple’s heart where secrets slept.
A scroll lay hidden, rich and old,
Wrapped in tales the Nile once told.
The high priestess warned of its mighty call,
A spell for those with hearts enthralled.
Yet Senufer’s spirit burned with grace,
A thirst for wisdom, a daring trace.
He traced the words with fingers light,
"Rise, O Nile, in blessed sight."
A breeze took form, and rain did fall,
As whispers echoed through the hall.
The priestess smiled, her gaze serene,
"Brave heart, you’ve touched the unseen.
Hold fast the Nile’s gentle song,
For in your soul, its spirit throngs."
Now wise and kind, his story told,
Senufer lives through tales of old.
In Egypt’s lands, his legend flows,
With the secret scroll, where the Nile rose.
