It's On This Day Of August...!
It's on this day of August...
in the month of beautiful flowers,
in the month of huge harvests,
amidst heavy and peaceful rains,
amidst fresh tilling of the gardens,
and a new young and enthusiastic
child was granted a gift of life!
Once in awhile drums and guitars
had to beat in a rare kind of rhythm!
Singers surprised everyone with rare
tones of their voices....and for that
reason the whole village briefly
sunk in an ocean of joy and happiness.
On this afternoon of the same day
this child is therefore making one more
year...and while am setting to engage with the new battles and victories of life I would like to first wish a happy and healthy birthday celebration to my fellow babies in this month of August, because actually this child is me and am so glad to be standing before you by myself!
