Morning Blues
I was awoken by a song,
Barely able to see through,
Ray of lights slided in,
As my tongue craved for a brew.

Slide, the song silenced,
I stared at the dim light,
It was half past ten,
The view out my window was bright,

Held my phone up to my face,
Fingers ran through the text,
So many people quoted their days,
Made me wonder what i had to send next.

Tossed aside the blanket went,
Feet felt the cold ground first,
Sounds of crack filled as i strectched,
Yet the pain on my neck was still at worst.

Down the hallway holding a towel
While i whined of all the trouble
Life as a student was fun, no more
More struggles awaiting to explore.
