I want to un-silence women
women who have been abused, used and have been told speaking up has no use.

women whose voices have been cracked,
whose hands are power bound,
whose brains have been washed,
whose tears have been called weakness.

I won't guarantee that speaking lessens your pain,
neither will I guarantee that the people around you will understand your pain.

But here's what.....

speak up,
speak up so that little girl who was rapped under the bridge will draw strength from your words.

speak up so that little boy doesn't feel alone, unwanted and not understood.

speak up for that boy who's about to take his life, and that girl who's about to destroy her womb.

speak up for that little girl/boy inside you,
who's Innocence was rubbed for she/he deserves a fresh start,
they deserve a healed heart,
and a community who's willing to help out ,
they deserves it,
you, deserve it.

So please un-silence yourself...
