They say love is blind
As for me I know this is true
I must be out of my mind
But that's really nothing new

I have this really bad tendency
To go into love wholeheartedly
I become rather blind you see
And don't do anything logically

This usually isn't a good thing
When my brain goes on vacation
And leaves my heart to bring
Out feelings with no reservation

Red flags my heart sees none
She wears rose colored glasses
When most would turn and run
She just gives away free passes

My friends just shake their heads
Oh there she goes again
They know how this often ends
It's only a matter of when
