A MOMENT AWAY
When the winds are asleep
That the trees calmly live
And the air is deathly still
Just a moment away, maybe, a rumble waits!
When the sea is silent
A ripple, a wave absent
And the shore is in tranquil
A moment not far, a sudden storm may occur
When the sky is clear
Blue, bereft of clouds and fair
And the birds fly free, least scared
Scary darkness is a moment away, maybe
When the sun, in a majestic way, ascends
As if from a fall to glory
Hinting at, creating, a different day with joy
Sure enough, a moment away, is sunset
A moment, a little or longer, away
Comes a completely different story!
