Ride forth against the tide,
Rise above the surf of challenges,
Welcome every sunrise with a vision,
Send off every sunset with hope...
That selfishness is not the human condition.

The tide moves against your will,
And the surf crashes into you
Reeling, floundering, overpowering
Trying to drown you.

This is the spirit of the world forcing itself upon you,
The sea of restless mankind crashing into you,
Compelling you to go with the flow
And follow the crowd and not the few.

And why is this sea restless?
Because selfishness pervades the world around you,
And its spirit insidiously says!
Be self centered, it's all about you.

So rage against the sea.
Be among the givers and not the takers,
