My Sorrow
I had a friend who torn me apart.
For a pitiful reason she would spread sweet lies.
She manipulated me whilst destroying my heart.
Yet she wore convincing sorrowful eyes.
For ages her words hurt me, rotting my core.
Yet her smile shon ever so brightly,
when she knew that it was my friendship she continuously tore.
She clutched onto me tightly.
Not letting me go without an leaving a scar.
she played victim and acted unsure.
Now I pray the stain will wash out like tar.
Our friendship is over, and that I am sure.
