It is the purest form of existence,
without it we stagnate,
we rot,
without it we are unrefined,
for coal can never become diamond without pressure,
so we must struggle,
we must fight,
but more important than anything,
you must persist,
you can not buckle under the weight,
nor can you become enraptured by your accomplishments,
you must hunger but not starve,
be restless but not weary,
you must swim the great tides of the world without drowning,
and trek the deserts of suffering without falling,
it will be difficult,
you will feel the water fill your lungs,
the sand scratch your eyes,
the heat scorch your skin,
yet this struggle is what makes you,
and to prevail in this what will birth you anew
