My life is an open book, That led me through every nook,
And every corner of discovery,
Of life's long journey.
As the page slowly turns,
It was in the crannies where my heart yearns,
For challenges of discovering,
Lessons that were worth uncovering.
With them wisdom planted,
Seeds that grew where they landed,
Producing wonders that never cease,
Giving this life a new lease.
As I reach the final chapter,
Shutting out useless noise and chatter,
I want to know I gave it my best,
As I lay my head down for that final rest.
