adorn the counter

An egg timer
rattling
Shortbread is ready!

Glass jars
with little pink candies
well loved oven mitts
tied to a cupboard

A fully stocked
pantry
with Carnation
evaporated milk

'It never expires'
these rusty cans
practically relics
she could of bought them
in 1956
