Blazes of shining pearls
Crickets and songs from cicadas
The cool humid air filled with mystery
Whispers from the wind kiss my face and hair
Asphalt roads lit by the luminous orb above

Sitting next to someone i love
I breathe in and out presently
Fears and anxieties seek to drag me down

But they utterly fail.

For today is a peaceful summer day
And
I have no fear of tomorrow or yesterday
