If only wishes can come true,
I have one or two or maybe a few,
And they're all about you,
If only wishes could come true,
I'd wish for more time with you.
For every moment spent together,
Is a memory I'll always treasure.
If only dreams could be real,
I'd dream of a love that I could feel.
A love that's strong and true,
And always leads me back to you.
But wishes and dreams are just that,
A fleeting thought, a passing chat.
And though I long for you each day,
I know that you're so far away.
So I'll hold onto the memories we've made,
And cherish them in the light and shade.
For though we're apart, you're always near,
In the love that I hold so dear.
