My generation
As a child, porous and naive believed in a future we were promised ,
A better future, one where we would flourish
We were told to be patient, have faith and courage
Waiting for millinium we realized that the treasures in the world we were promised
Were far too sweet for the busy bees to turn a blind eye .
So we moved on tried surviving
Knowing everything we were promised was sham.
We struggle to be comfortable ,
the moment we sit after our unexpected doze of labour,
our doors are broken, our things are seized ,accused of being delictuous,
we are dragged like Rams to be sacrificed and killed for sport,
not given the decency of a fair hearing..
And you ask us why?...what do we want
We March the streets to bring an end to your deception
We March the streets because it's clear you do not care
We March this Streets so you could end the brutality showered on us
We March our streets to bring an end to our dehumanization
We March to free my generation
