Is There a Heaven?
Is there a heaven bright where angels dwell?
Where we may find repose from earthly strife,
And bask forevermore, where all is well?
A place beyond the realm of pain and strife,
Where souls find solace from life's thorny way,
And heartaches cease to plague throughout each life.
Oh, let us dream of such eternal day,
Where love and peace abound, and sorrows cease,
In heaven's realm where weary souls may play.
Though earthly woes and doubts may never cease,
We hold onto hope, for heaven's joy awaits,
And there we'll find our everlasting peace.
