A patriot not a loyalist

Am not an activist,
But just a countryman,
Am not a loyalist to the system.
But a true patriot to my country.

We ain't free this time let me voice,
Politics headlining day in day out,
Our rural homes in a pathetic state,
Developments are town based they say.

Police brutality part of our reality,
'Trained to kill us, ' now our new notion,
Child ,old nobody is safe,
For my home country is a beehive of hell activities.

Evolve shot now on a deathbed,
Honourable free for he is in the system,
Our rotten society still shower praises on him,
For my country people bow to money not humanity.

Is there any reason to pledge my loyalty to the system?
The system that still allow Obado to rule,
The system that send Miguna to diaspora,
The system that it's laws only applies to the poor.

Education in my country is only theoretical,
Jobs in my country only for the few,
Tribalism the only bridge to a successful life,
For my country is colonised by its own ideas.
