28th Line of Pain
It was the third of October,
Dark shade filled the night skies,
Easy was the stars to the eyes,
But terror was victim of the night.
It was a thriller night.

I was beside you all night staring,
But your eyes laid elsewhere,
I whispered to your heart,
But your heart hid from me.
It was a frightful night.

The dispair in the air grew,
As we cling to our device,
Shouting amidst silents words,
Tantrum of words that ached the heart.
It was a tough night.

In heart, hope was laid,
Hoping to bleed out the pain,
Hoping to welcome the joy of morning sun,
Hoping to hold my love.
It was a stale night.

She had an arsenal of pain to give,
I had an arsenal of love to give,
We stayed at the sea of despair to long,
And thought we were fishes.
It was a wishful night.

An atmosphere of parenthetical pause
My heart bleeds in hope I'm redeemed by morning
This is my 28th line of pain.
