For everyone around the country
Today is Thanksgiving Day
Christmas comes in late December
While we wait for Santa and his sleigh
The holidays get somewhat hectic
Starting with Halloween
But you're thankful when New Year's gets here
So you can sip on the Patrone and Jim Bean
The holidays go by fast
But often times not quick enough
It's a pain in the ass to put away decorations
And put away all the food stuff
I think the summer time
Can be just as bad
The weather is scortching
With no relief in sight to be had
But summer is my favorite time of year
You don't have to wear a million layers
But then summer comes to an end
Then it's time for homecoming and football players
But then the decorations come out again
Congratulating the Seniors for that coming year
Now it's time to make adult decisions
And find themselves a career
There's a lot of cheering and ranting going on
When football season comes around
Everyone picks their favorite team
And waits to see who delivers a beat-down
But right now, For everyone around the country
Today is Thanksgiving Day
Then we all patiently wait
For the return of Santa and his sleigh
