Reflections in Silence
**Reflections in Silence**
In the mirror's gaze, I stand,
A tapestry of life, both bright and bland.
Good and bad, they weave and intertwine,
A perfect person? No, that’s never been mine.
Youth, how funny, we take it for granted,
Living the moments, breathless and enchanted.
But time, oh time, it slowly unveils,
Life’s true light, where wisdom prevails.
This morning I ponder, a soul laid bare,
With hopes and regrets, I lay myself there.
In a world full of chatter, voices collide,
Yet in the noise, true listening hides.
