I was in my deep slumber
Then I found myself in a dream
I saw you, walking towards me
I smiled widely but slowly faded away.

I saw you looking right through my eyes
I can't explain the reason behind
I suddenly felt like I want to cry
Ask you why, but I can't find my voice.

I managed to hold my tears from falling
Managed to walk and go near you
But still unable to speak
I want to tell you something but I can't.

I looked straight through your eyes
Like what you did to me
We stared at each other for a while
Little did I know, tears are running down my face.

It hurts, I thought I was just dreaming
I was silently screaming inside
You managed to show me the reality
Just with your cold eyes and impassive expression.

I tried to think of this as a nightmare
I was silently screaming and praying
That you will wake me up and say it's a dream
But I guess that's not going to happen.

It was indeed a nightmare- a real one
A nightmare that made me cry a river
A nightmare that made me voiceless, unable to speak
My voice that's silently screaming, begging for you to come back.
