You still shine

You shine brighter when the sky is darker
When somebody asks what is the secret to your brightness,
You tell them your favourite colour is dark-blue
Sometime when clouds of anger come upon you
You still manage to pass them through
But I wish when hypertensive lightning attacked you,
Your heart didn't break in two
It's not your fault though
Because the lightning directly attacked your throat
But don't worry,
Your light is so bright...
It'll never stop shining upon all of us.
