I thought you'd keep your words,

even when things weren't easy.
You always said you'd wait by me 
even on the nights when cold and storm
rage the world.

You stopped believing in me.
You made me realise life isn't fair,
and all I want to tell 
you is that the sun rose
and that the flowers bloomed.
My happiness sprang 
even without your love.
