Intuition
Once upon a working day,
And every working day since then.
Then the working breaks were won,
7 days a week we'd spend.

Emails, calls and face to face,
Until the lockdown came to play.
But every day we'd walked or run.
Until the lockdown days were fun.

Back to work we'd carry on.
And you confused as anger shone.
I told the truth and you were calm.
But that was just the battle won.

Understanding was a gift,
And truth was all I had to give.
But here we are in all our right.
And it was always on a brew.

Freed and grateful is our way.
And there's so much left to say.
Slow and careful formed a gem.
But handled like a playing card.

Pack up all the cushions fluffed,
And off we go into our gut.
Fantasy was just a dream.
But intuition has come to be.
