Red and Blue
I see red and blue collide for you
And see them turn another hue:
To lilac, and lavender, purplish dew
I see my dream becoming true.
True enough, for an honest hour,
I felt nothing but this sense of louder
Whispers and confessions of sorrow
You borrowed; you never enamored
The things I said I used to share
Between delight, unease despair;
To flee from you I could not dare
Not for I'm a coward; I simply care.
I see red and blue untangle in you
And see them run apart from me too;
To shades of rose, and moons of blue
I see my hope becoming untrue.
