A veil of sorrow now shrouds my heart,
As I bid farewell to you, my dearest part.
Your gentle smile, your loving embrace,
Memories that time can never erase.
The world seems dimmer without your light,
Your guiding presence, a beacon in the night.
Your wisdom, your kindness, your unwavering care,
All that you were, I can no longer share.
The pain of your loss cuts deep within,
A void that can never be filled again.
Yet, in the darkness, I find solace in the thought,
That your spirit lives on, your lessons have taught.
Though you’ve departed this earthly plane,
Your love and influence forever remain.
I carry you with me, in everything I do,
My beloved mother, I will always love you.
