Earlier today, I was searching for a poem to write on the Writco app before I lose some of the followers I barely got over the months...

And I saw this...
"Read every word before you press 'send'"

Immediately I saw this, something flashed through my mind, am not sure what it was but it was like a flashback..


My Grandma and I used to be best of friends and I got along with her more than any other person in my home,

Then I remembered that I lived a very careless life and even when everyone was tired of my behaviour
She was never tired...

When I come back home from school
she'll always ask me "I hope you didn't make trouble today?"
and I'll be like "granny, it wasn't my fault, she stepped on my shoes... "


"my child, please live with caution"

was the next thing she would say when she heard my reply, it all got to a point where each time I want to do something bad I think of those words she keeps saying to me and singing to me like a song

And I'll just decide to actually live with caution for I felt she was watching me

Even when she passed those words were like a permanent balm that kept me going...

I may not be the best of all my peers or the most quiet of all my siblings but I know that till today

"I live with caution"
