Brilliant People
People are everywhere; we're like flies
However, we're sometimes nowhere; we drop dead like flies
But unlike flies, we're brilliant
Brilliant people see things in a way most ordinary people can't
Brilliant people laugh at the things most people won't
Brilliant people are the ones whom nobody thinks about
The ones forgotten
Maybe brilliant people don't come around very often
Maybe they're hidden in plain sight
After all, we're only human
Aren't we all the same?
I suppose we can't all be brilliant
There is no exception
But I think I can make the exception
Only if we all try
Maybe, just this once, we can all be brilliant people
