Breathlessly I inhaled every word you said
Believing the delivery, not using my head.
I was made to feel like I was the only one
But slowly my confidence being undone.
I inhaled every breath with words spoken
Little did I know I would soon be broken.
The toxicity in your heart was not to see
But slowly injected the poison into me.
You praised me for being so calm and cool
But here I am being taken for another fool.
Like cyanide being injected in to my soul
You slowly killed me, my mind unrolled.
I try to exhale the venom that crippled
My heart, and my beat become rippled.
The hidden words of poison so cunning
Sent all my courage and love running.
I was both a muse and a mindless joke,
Building a false hope only to be broke.
Your first words soothed me, your eyes
Yes your eyes totally of a devil in disguise.
Wicked and tantalising yet caring you were
But behind all the facade you became a cur.
Exhaling all the words, exorcising this curse
To be with you blindly, nothing could be worse.
