it's so hot, I look at the clock,
it's only about noon,
times going on so slow, ticking away, tick tock, tick tock,
I can't wait until the night falls upon us, I'm excited because tonight is yet another Full Moon!
I'm impatient, man I hope it comes soon,
outside the sun, there's nothing that can even compare,
so beautiful, so majestic, almost like it isn't real, maybe it's cartoon,
so enormous, up there so high, for all of us to share,
sometimes it is orange, sometimes it's white, and a blood moon, reddish maroon,
sun brings the light and heat during the day, but the moon brings us the light all throughout the night,
I know it's going to take more than an army to move it, even more than a platoon,
better call the whole calvary because that's one task larger than any fight,
wonder if the moon has a smell? wonder if it smells like perfume?
or would it smell like the dew of the night?
I can go on forever, but I believe there is a lot to appreciate, and lots to learn about the ol full moon,
are you gonna be outside enjoying it with us? that's definitely where I am going to be tonight!!!!
