Fraying Threads
My brothers were my greatest light.
We stood as one; we fought the night.
The love we shared, though far it seems,
Now haunts my heart with shattered dreams.

As children, we would talk for hours
Of futures bright, of blooming flowers.
We chased the sun, the stars, the breeze,
Together, wild and running free.

“Remember when we dreamed of flight?”
We’d laugh and plan, hearts full of light.
