Love Trembles

When you're with me,
The earth trembles beneath our feet.
The morning dew levitates
On the leaves above.
Suffusing the air excitments and enchantments.

My feet barely touches the ground,
As we soar in the clouds,
our spirits entwine.

I know it sounds clumsy,
But that's how love should be.
It makes me feel like a child all over again,
Surrounded by bubble, blossom, and buttercup.

On days when time has arthritis,
I pray to God to put you back
As one of my ribs,
So I never have to spend a day without you.

If I could I write how love makes me feel,
I'd write in braille, because love is blind.
But all I can do is say these words to you:
I love you more than words can say.
