I know I should be saying goodbye,
But that would bring a tear to eye.
So instead I’ll say this, clear and true,
Thank you for being in my life, in all you do.

I’m not disappearing, nor gone forever,
We’ll both still live under the same sky, together.
Maybe in different places, with different faces,
But at the same time, in life’s varied spaces.

There may be things we forget as we strive,
Yet because we are alive, we can remember, we can thrive.
We’ll remember each other, in moments so fine,
And if someday you feel like it, seek me, find me, in time.

I’ll be waiting here, with an open heart,
Thank you for being a part of me, a cherished part.
In the dance of life, in its ebb and its flow,
Our bond remains, a light in the glow.

As seasons change and years go by,
Under the same vast, endless sky,
Our paths may cross, our worlds align,
In memories sweet, in heartbeats' rhyme.

If you ever feel alone or lost,
Remember the bridges we’ve gently crossed.
Reach out to me, and you will find,
A friend who’s true, with arms entwined.
