Sometimes it is best to be in solitude,
To separate from the crowd,
So no one will intrude,
As you mumble tales alone aloud,

Although this solitude I enjoy most of the time
I feel I've been living like this for too long
All the words I have mumbled aloud
are now memorized but no longer
coming out of my mouth

I separated myself from the crowd
they all made fun of my ideas
I didn't feel like myself
but now that Ive grown and have gotten better
I'm ready to comeback
but I feel as if they won't except the real me
the one they can't bully for no reason
so I moved on to a new crowd
that will take my ideas without the pound of salt you used to douse them in

I've come up with new ideas
and instead of mumbling them to myself
I'm mumbling them to you
but I still feel as if you can't hear me
theres tape on my mouth
and I can't take it off
Ive been stuck in solitude for too long
too scared to speak the truth
so I don't think the tape will ever come off
I'll just keep mumbling to myself
afterall you never took my words seriously and thought the mumbles were that of
some senile women
