That's Life, Isn't it?
Singing birds and the morning dew,
calm cool breeze and the homemade stew.
Such is the life I want to wake up to,
Cherishing the sun and the clear sky blue.

Slurping the tea quietly before it cools,
Seeing the chirping birds explain the rules
To their little 'chirplings' as they learn,
To take their first flight and catch a worm.

Preparing my lunch as the noon comes close,
Fetching some water from the stream that flows
Close to my living quarter, my lovely house,
Where I live with my dog, my cat and a mouse.

Laying down on my lovely bed of foam,
As I continue to cherish my beautiful home
And those who make my life so good,
Those who make home from a house of wood.

Chilling in the evening as there is nothing to do.
I walk, I knit, I pray, I play, sometimes I read too
And then I finally retreat to my bed again,
Gazing at the starry sky and the endless terrain.

And then I wake up from my sleep,
With the sound of horns and beep,
That clear blue sky, those grasses green,
It was all a dream, always has been.
