On a wall, tick tock
I hear the clock
The time is gone
no work is done

Stay calm start writing
but my motivation is drying
a river of inspiration made to halt
By none other than writer's block

The empty book with pen and the phone
Melancholy puts me out of the zone
Then nothing is important
as I take it one word at a time

The day is dark I hear my pen fall
Release a sigh 'One chapter is done'
