His wings begin to unfold
As he takes his final breathes
Letting go of the suffering
Feeling peace wash over him
Ascending into the arms of
God basking in his light
Walking the earth with
A new set of eyes

He's joined once again by
His loving companion free
To explore the depths of
Gods grace locking arms
With our soldiers awaiting
Judgement smiling as they
Watch over us placing their
Hands on our Hearts letting
Us know of their safety and love
