Demons.
The demons of the night,
They fill you up with fright.
And when it turns to dread,
You'll only wish your death.
It's their eternal fate,
Filled with immense hate.
Even if hell had them damned,
And maybe got them condemned,
They destroy your perfect life,
If needed with the dullest knife.
The alluring language being ancient,
The future place for your soul being vacant.
Silently they will approach you,
But quick enough to get rid of you.
Confronting to gracefully kill,
Dooming with their might and will.
Their eyes being black like abyss below,
If they feel like killing it isn't for show.
Your blood will be visible, red on the snow,
So don't walk away or unknown is the place you go.
If you try running, you may try hopelessly to hide,
Their loud screech will pierce right through your mind.
They'll have no problem if they want to find,
What's prey for them, won't get off their sight.
They hide in the shadows, sneak up and attack,
A claw in your chest, just taken aback.
As you see your life flash before your eyes,
You will long just for death, you'll be traumatised.
They dont want you to die quickly, they want to feel your pain.
That's why they will just torture you, until you scream again.
Then they'll discard, just throw you away,
And you will be suffering, your vision turning grey.
You'll live this fate for long, just staring, alive,
For demons are creatures that like to see you strive.
For freedom, for life and for your own big love,
They first let you feel safe, then attack from above.
These are the creatures that lurk in the dark,
At morning you wake up, with on your leg a strange mark.
And you shrugged them off, no monsters under your bed.
Because, my child, you see, it's all inside your head.
So sleep peacefully and never fear to walk,
Because the demons are in a room that's thoroughly locked.
But remember one thing, my child, not to fear.
Because when you think of them, one is always near.
