Just a few words to speak,
Or just a single nod to make it true,
But my decision is weak,
I need a few moments to rethink the issue,

Will a few moments be enough,
Or would I require a lifetime ?
I find the words to be very tough ,
Feeling them fighting for my lifeline,

Still, I encourage myself with all my might,
It's just a single decision to be made,
Fretting on it is not going to make it right,
Calming myself I nod my head,

They took it as a yes and moved ahead,
But I stood behind contemplating my resolution,
Feeling upset as some part of me was left unsaid,
I felt as if trapped in a mirage of compulsion,

They knew that I couldn't deny them,
They took advantage of it to make me agree,
It seemed as if fate was playing a game,
Just for my bad luck to mock at me,

Still I agreed just to spite him and showcase my might,
But was it right ?
May be or may not, but I stood firm in my commitment,
I didn't know how it will change from how it had been,
Let it be the way my fate wants,
Let it be happy to be sad ,to know it's just my way to win.....
